Central High School Solar Panels

CHS Solar Panel Project

The Traverse City Central High School Class of 2018 Students for Environmental Advocacy Club (SEA Club) raised funds for the installation of the 20kW solar array now located at Central High School. Demonstrating the future of clean power, the panels offset about 20 tons of CO2 per year, or the equivalent of planting 992 trees per year. The project creates STEM educational opportunities for students and provides the school with clean energy.
