Cinco de Mayo Fundraiser to Support Student Trips to Spain, Mexico—May 5th

On Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Traverse City Area Public Schools will host a Cinco de Mayo fundraiser dinner and silent auction to support global service volunteer and language learning trips to Spain and Mexico at the Traverse City Masonic Lodge (13360 S W Bay Shore Dr.).

EMS Student Documentary to be Featured among “Best in Show” at Michigan Student Film Festival

Traverse City East Middle School’s student produced documentary “Predator & Prey” was selected among the “Best in Show” at the Digital Arts, Film & Television’s (DAFT’s) Michigan Student Film Festival.

Updated: East Middle School Student Documentary to be Shown at the State Theatre—April 15th

On Sunday, April 15, 2018, the documentary “Predator & Prey: Opioid’s savage effect on our community” created by students in the digital media class at Traverse City East Middle School will be shown at the State Theatre (233 E. Front Street).
